Our Founder

Meet Julia Pollard, TeachItRight’s CEO & Founder. Julia has worked as a Teacher in the Public Education System for 10+ years and has a vast amount of teaching experience working with students ranging from Kindergarten-Grade 12. She has worked in a variety of different roles and settings, including working as a Permanent Teacher with one of Ottawa’s largest public school boards. While working in her Permanent role as an Educator, Julia could see the gaps widening in the public education system and knew the impact this would soon have on many Canadian students and families. She decided to take action. 

 

She wanted to create a tutoring company that was designed, run and operated by an experienced Classroom Teacher who understands the Public Education System, the Canadian Curriculum and how to deliver quality one-on-one instruction effectively to a diverse set of learners.
